TERMS AND CONDITIONS for transfer

Welcome to Angel Eyes! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including VIP transfers, tours, car rentals, and car rentals with a driver in Santorini. By booking any service with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

1. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between ANGEL EYES (hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and the customer (hereinafter referred to as “the Client,” “you,” or “your”). The Company operates as a provider of passenger transport services, tour organization, and vehicle rental services (with or without a driver) within Santorini. Our services are offered subject to availability and acceptance by the Company. All services are provided with professionalism and adherence to safety standards.

 

2. CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING AND REFUNDS

2.1 Cancellations by the Client:

  • Transfers & Tours:
    • Cancellations made more than [72] hours/days prior to the scheduled service time will receive a [100]% refund.
    • Cancellations made between [72] and [24] hours/days prior to the scheduled service time will receive a [50]% refund.
    • Cancellations made less than [24] hours/days prior to the scheduled service time or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Car Rentals (without driver):
    • Cancellations made more than [3] days prior to the rental start date will receive a [100]% refund.
    • Cancellations made less than [3] days prior to the rental start date may incur a cancellation fee equivalent to [one day’s rental].
  • Car Rentals with Driver:
    • (Follow similar structure as Transfers & Tours or Car Rentals, depending on the nature of the booking.)
  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [[email protected]]. The date of receipt of the email will be considered the cancellation date.

2.2 Changes to Your Booking by the Client:

  • Requests for changes (e.g., date, time, pick-up/drop-off location, vehicle type) must be submitted in writing via email to [[email protected]].
  • Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges, which will be communicated to you prior to confirmation.
  • Requests for changes made less than [24] hours/days prior to the scheduled service time may not be accommodated.

2.3 Cancellations by the Company:

  • In the rare event that the Company must cancel a service due to unforeseen circumstances, vehicle malfunction, or other reasons beyond our control, you will be notified as soon as possible.
  • In such cases, you will be offered an alternative service (if available) or a full refund for the cancelled service. The Company shall not be liable for any further compensation or losses incurred by the Client as a result of such cancellation.

2.4 Refunds:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within [10] business days from the date of approval.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking.

 

3. AVAILABILITY OF THE SERVICE

All services offered by the Company are subject to vehicle and driver availability at the time of booking confirmation. While we strive to accommodate all requests, particularly during peak seasons, early booking is strongly recommended. The Company reserves the right to decline any booking at its sole discretion if it cannot meet the service requirements.

 

4. PAYMENTS

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Union Pay), bank transfers, and [other payment methods you accept, e.g., PayPal].
  • Booking Confirmation: A booking is not confirmed until full payment or a deposit (as specified at the time of booking) has been received by the Company. You will receive a confirmation email once payment is processed and the booking is confirmed.
  • Currency: All prices are quoted in Euros (€).
  • Additional Charges: Any additional services requested by the Client during the service (e.g., unscheduled stops, extended waiting time beyond grace period for transfers, extra hours for car rentals with driver) will be charged separately at the Company’s standard rates and must be paid directly to the driver or through our online payment system.

 

5. PRICES OF TRANSPORT SERVICES

  • Prices for our transfer, tour, and rental services are displayed on our website or provided upon request through our booking system.
  • Prices include all applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise stated.
  • Toll fees, parking fees at non-designated areas, and specific entry fees for attractions during tours are generally not included unless explicitly mentioned in the tour package description.
  • For car rentals, fuel costs are typically not included unless it’s a “full-to-full” policy or specified otherwise.
  • The Company reserves the right to adjust prices at any time, but the price confirmed at the time of booking will be honored.

 

6. BOOKING CONDITIONS AND CONTRACT OF CARRIAGE

  • Booking Process: Bookings can be made online through our website, via email, or by phone.
  • Accuracy of Information: It is the Client’s responsibility to provide accurate and complete information during the booking process, including flight details, hotel names, dates, times, and number of passengers/luggage. The Company is not liable for issues arising from incorrect information provided by the Client.
  • Contract Formation: A contract for carriage is formed once the Company issues a booking confirmation email to the Client after receipt of payment (full or deposit).
  • Vehicle Allocation: The Company reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of similar or higher class than the one booked if the original vehicle is unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • Luggage Policy: Clients must inform the Company in advance about excessive luggage or oversized items to ensure appropriate vehicle allocation. The Company reserves the right to refuse carriage of luggage that may damage the vehicle or compromise safety.
  • Child Seats: Child seats are available upon request and must be specified at the time of booking. Additional charges may apply.

 

7. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS

  • Punctuality: For transfers, clients must be ready at the agreed pick-up time. A grace period of [e.g., 15 minutes for transfers, 60 minutes for airport pick-ups] will be allowed, after which waiting time charges may apply or the service may be considered a no-show.
  • Respectful Conduct: Clients are expected to treat drivers and Company personnel with respect. Any aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated, and the service may be terminated without refund.
  • Vehicle Condition: Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by negligence or misconduct.
  • Smoking/Vaping: Smoking or vaping is strictly prohibited in all our vehicles.
  • Alcohol/Drugs: Consumption of alcohol or illegal drugs is strictly prohibited in our vehicles.
  • Safety: Clients must adhere to all safety instructions provided by the driver. Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
  • Compliance with Law: Clients must comply with all applicable Greek laws and regulations during the service.
  • Identification: For car rentals (without driver), a valid driving license, passport/ID, and a credit card in the driver’s name are required.

 

8. UNFORESEEABLE CIRCUMSTANCES OR FORCE MAJEURE

The Company shall not be liable for any delay, failure to perform, or disruption of services caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather conditions (e.g., strong winds affecting ferry services, heavy rain), natural disasters, acts of government or public authorities, strikes, riots, terrorism, road closures, traffic accidents, or mechanical breakdowns despite regular maintenance. In such cases, the Company will endeavor to provide alternative solutions, but no refunds or compensation will be provided for services disrupted or cancelled due to force majeure.

  • Complaints Procedure: If you have a complaint regarding our services, please submit it in writing to [email protected] within [e.g., 24 hours] of the service completion. We will investigate the matter thoroughly and endeavor to respond within 5 business days.

 

10. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Thira, Santorini].

 

11. ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION (ADR)

The Company is committed to resolving disputes fairly and efficiently. In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably through our internal complaint procedure, clients may have the option to refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) entity, if applicable under Greek law.
